Poster Session for STAT/BIOINF/GSAT 540 — Methods for High Dimensional Biology
When: April 6th, 9:30-11:00
Where: ESB Atrium
STAT/BIOINF/GSAT 540 students have been working hard on Statistical Genomics and Bioinformatics group projects–they will be presenting their group projects in a poster session on April 6th 9:30-11:00AM. The goal of the course project is to bring together students from diverse backgrounds in the class, including statistics, computer science, bioinformatics, biology, and immunology and microbiology, in order to collaboratively develop a research project involving the analysis and interpretation of a high dimensional biological dataset. This year, there are 9 group projects, spanning a wide variety of biological research questions, involving the analysis of different types of high dimensional datasets including RNA-sequencing data, Whole Genome Sequencing data, Methylation profiling data data, microbiome data, and metabolomics data. Please, join us in this exciting event!
