Software Carpentry Workshop at UBC, Jan 29 – 30‏

Hi everyone,

Interested in learning how to use R and what are best practices for scientific computing?

We are organizing a Software Carpentry workshop at UBC on January 29 – 30, 9AM – 4:30PM. Our focus will be on R, Unix Shell and version control with Git.

Check out details here: http://lmguzman.github.io/2016-01-29-UBC/ <http://lmguzman.github.io/2016-01-29-UBC/>

The workshop is open to everyone with any skill levels or disciplines!

If you can’t make it to our workshop, join us for other opportunities to keep practicing R, Python and other coding and open science tools at our weekly meet up. If you are interested in sharing your skills and practice teaching, we’re always looking for more presenters at Study Group. http://minisciencegirl.github.io/studyGroup/ <http://minisciencegirl.github.io/studyGroup/>

We hope to see you there!
