My name is Alexander Graves and I am with Symvivo Incorporated. We are a biotech company developing a novel gene delivery technology based in Burnaby. We are looking to hire up to two bioinformatic experts on a contract basis for several projects this fall and I was wondering if you could pass around the position description to alumni/student body or suggest a few candidates that might be interested. Alternatively, and I don’t know if this is an option within the faculty, we would be excited to take on a student intern for the project as well.
The project would involve identifying, comparing and analyzing a variety of genomic elements across different species, allowing us to expand the scope of our gene delivery platform technology and patent holdings.
