APBC2013 Call for Papers
The Eleventh Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Conference will be held in Vancouver, BC, Canada. APBC2013 invites high quality original full papers on any topic related to Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The submitted papers must have not been published or under the consideration for publication in any other journal or conference with formal proceedings. All accepted papers will have to be presented by one of the authors at the conference. Accepted papers will be invited to be published in the journals BMC Genomics or BMC Bioinformatics, following the journals’ publication policy.
Papers are solicited on, but not limited to, the following topics: – Sequence analysis, especially high throughput sequencing applications – RNA structure and function – Evolution and phylogeny – Protein structure analysis – Transcriptome, gene expression, proteomics – Pathways, networks, systems and ontologies – Population genetics – Comparative genomics
Submission Deadline (tentative): July 15, 2012
Author Notification (tentative): August 20, 2012
Final Version Due (tentative): October 1, 2012
Conference start and end dates: Jan 20 – 23, 2013
