The Bioinformatics Reading Group is back!!
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend and participate for this academic year. I hope you have your schedule almost fixed for this term and you can decide about the reading group timing now.
The Bioinformatics Reading Group is a biweekly reading group discussing interesting research projects and papers generally related to the field of bioinformatics/computational biology. People can present from different research groups to exchange minds and to familiarize with other groups research.
Based on previous experience, the reading group will tend to be flexible, and choose topics according to the participants’ interests (eg. It could be a progress report of your ongoing project or a paper you feel interested in). There is no obligation involved: you may drop in to only one, or only a few, meetings 🙂
As before, we will set up the place/time based on the participants for this year (eg. previously, the reading group was held every other week at alternating locations (CS/MSL)). So if you are interested in joining, please click on the Doodle link below to select your preferred times from the choices provided. According to the Doodle results, we could start the first meeting (organizational meeting) as soon as next week.
And to subscribe to the Bioinformatics Reading Group mailing list, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “subscribe bioinf-rg” in the body of the email.
Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any question 🙂
