I did my PhD at UBC under the supervision of Anne Condon, from the CS department. Now I am working at Zymeworks, a computational biotechnology company dedicated to the rational design and optimization of protein therapeutics.
The reason that I am writing you is that there is a job opening for a bioinformatics position. I think that the graduate program in bioinformatics is a very good place to advertise the position because we are looking for bioinformaticians with knowledge or experience in different areas. We are located just a few blocks away from the Genome Science Centre: at 8th Av. and Hemlock.
