Change in May graduation schedule affects some Science programs‏

To all:

Changes were made today to the distribution of some specializations/degrees between the 8:30 and 11:00 ceremonies on May 25. The changes were necessitated by changes in the undergraduate Biology Program, which have made the use of “options” unhelpful for the majority of Biology BSc’s. Now all Biology BSc’s  and Biology, Botany, and Zoology graduate students will be in the 8:30 ceremony. Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, GSAT, and Microbiology & Immunology (graduate and undergraduate) will be in the 11:00 ceremony. The revised schedule is:

8:30 am

GRADUATE AND POSTDOCTORAL STUDIES; SCIENCE (REVISED AS OF MARCH 27, 2015)

{Biology, Biology Options (B.Sc. only: Animal, Cell Biology, Cell Biology and Genetics, Conservative, Ecology, Evolutionary, Genetics, General Biology, Marine Plant), Botany, Zoology}

Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc.

11:00 am

GRADUATE AND POSTDOCTORAL STUDIES; SCIENCE (REVISED AS OF MARCH 27, 2015)

{Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Genome Science and Technology, Microbiology & Immunology, Integrated Sciences, Combined Major in Science, General Science (Life Science or concentrations in any of the above)}

Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc.

Sincerely,

Paul

P.S. I will ask Ceremonies to correct “Conservative” to “Conservation” and to put a comma after “Marine”. J
