The call for the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy’s (CCSA) Have a Heart Bursary Program applications will open on March 2, 2016!
We would greatly appreciate if you could advise any students with an interest in cardiology about this great bursary program. Applications will be accepted until May 4, 2016.
The Have a Heart Bursary Program, now in its 15th year, is designed to introduce promising young Canadian medical students, post-graduate trainees and basic scientists-in-training to the cardiovascular sciences (clinical and basic sciences) to encourage a strong Canadian cardiovascular community. Applicants should be committed to a future career in Canada.
Awardees will receive:
· Roundtrip air or ground travel to Montreal, QC to attend the CCC 2016, October 22-25, 2016;
· Up to 4 nights Hotel accommodation in Montreal from Friday, October 21 to Tuesday, October 25, 2016;
· Complimentary registration to the CCC 2016; and the
· Unique opportunity to meet with Canadian leaders in the cardiovascular sciences.
