Funding Opportunity – MSFHR/CIHR Science Policy Fellowship‏

The MSFHR/CIHR Science Policy Fellowship is a new knowledge translation funding opportunity offered by the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the BC Ministry of Health. The fellowship offers an opportunity for an independent researcher or trainee (graduate student or post-doc) to be embedded within the BC Ministry of Health for six months to develop evidence-based provincial policy and funding options for emergency department services in BC. The program was designed with the goal of establishing and nurturing critical links between policy-makers and external researchers in support of evidence-based public policy.

To date, there have been limited inquiries about the position, so this may be a good opportunity for interested students.
