Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplements Competition Update

Hello,

We have received the official competition announcement from the Tri-Agencies for the fall 2014 Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement program. All application forms are now available online.

Most details remain the same, as per my earlier announcement, including the deadline for nominations to be submitted to G+PS.

Please note the following modifications/clarifications for the fall competition:

1. For CGS M and Vanier CGS recipients, a copy of the latest updated CGS project proposal must be sent with the completed MSFSS application.

2. Non-academic host supervisors must demonstrate they have experience supervising graduate student research.

3. For SSHRC, applicants must complete the web-based application form available on its website and submit it electronically. Additionally, a signed printed copy must be submitted to their Faculty of Graduate Studies for consideration. No other formats will be accepted.
